Volunteer Opportunities

Here at CCA, we have a small, but gifted staff of dedicated individuals. Still, we can always use more people to help with the work we do here. We consider time a valuable donation. The following is a list of ways you can help with your time.

·Help with answering the phone or other administrative duties;

·Mentoring or tutoring a child, coordinating or helping with a special project or arranging a special program for children as part of our After-School Program;

·Providing childcare for parents while they are in our workshops learning new skills;

·Using your carpentry / building skills to repair or improve our facilities;

·Providing our residents with computer hardware and software training and support;

·Cooking for special events;

·Providing cleaning services for apartments and common areas;

·Assisting with fundraising events and mailings;

·Holding food drives, sorting food, preparing and distributing baskets as part of our Thanksgiving food drive.

·We also have opportunities for groups to volunteer, such as our Spring and Fall cleanups.
